Albert Lloyd Cuevas II, lovingly known as “Ace,” went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2026.

He was born on July 2, 1967, in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, and throughout his life, he exemplified dedication to family, service to his community, and a genuine appreciation of the outdoors.

Albert’s early life in Susquehanna set the foundation for his enduring values and passions. He graduated from Susquehanna Community High School with the Class of 1986, before going on to further his education at Lincoln Technical School, where he completed his studies and prepared for a lifelong career as a skilled service technician.

His remarkable work ethic was evident through his more than 30 years as a service technician with Sears. After Sears, he continued to share his talents for four years at Duffy’s AIS.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Albert’s truest joys were found in the people and natural world around him. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending countless cherished hours hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. Albert’s deep respect for the environment inspired service not only to his local community but also to several conservation efforts. He prided himself on his roles as councilman on the Susquehanna Borough Council, president of the Wilson F. Moore Chapter of the NWTF, vice president of the Windsor Sportsman’s Club, chair for the PFSC Northeast Division, and as a past president of the Canawacta Rod & Gun Club. Additionally, he was a proud member of several local conservation agencies and organizations, advocating tirelessly to preserve the beauty and vitality of the outdoors for future generations.

Albert’s sense of responsibility extended naturally into his devotion to family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Michele Jackson Cuevas, who stood steadfastly by his side; his loving mother, Lorraine Jackson; and his children: Leonard Jackson II & Rosemarie Faust, Carlos & Christina Cuevas, Alycia Cuevas & Fiancée Robert Dorunda, Jackson Cuevas, father figure to Casey & Stephanie Rush. Albert was a doting grandfather to Riley Jane Cuevas, Noah Jai Dorunda, Mateo Anthony Dorunda and expected granddaughter Layla Grace Cuevas. He is also survived by his siblings: his brother Ted & Constance Cuevas; his sister Linda & Raymond Barnes; his sister Mary & Jeffrey Bailey; and his brother Charles & Wendy Cuevas, sister-in-law Lynnette Jackson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Albert Cuevas, grandparents, Lawrence and Harriet Cuevas, and his father-in-law, Leonard Jackson.

Family was at the heart of all Albert did. Whether cheering at his nieces’ and nephews’ activities or gathering everyone together for outdoor adventures, he was happiest when surrounded by loved ones. He found great purpose in mentoring the youth of his community.

A visitation will be held at Bridgewater Church Montrose, 10142 PA-167, Montrose, PA 18801, on August 5, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM at the same location.
