Alice Jane White, a lifelong resident of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at the Guthrie Towanda Personal Care Home in Towanda, PA. Born on August 6, 1953, in Susquehanna, Alice's life was deeply rooted in the community she cherished.

She was a graduate of Susquehanna Community High School. She had a profound love for arts and crafts. Alongside her artistic pursuits, she enjoyed long walks that refreshed her spirit, and she treasured spending time with her loving family. Purple, a color that symbolized her vibrant personality, was a favorite hue that reflected her joyful disposition.

Alice was well known for "holding court" with her friends at the Town Restaurant, a gathering place where laughter and camaraderie were plentiful.

She is survived by her devoted children: James & Jill White Jr. of New Milford, PA; Debra White of Wellsboro, PA; Lisa & Michael Welsch of Hallstead, PA; and Robert White of Susquehanna, PA. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Michael & Lauren Welsch, Matthew & Sara Welsch, Kyle White, and Kaitlin White. Alongside them, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Kenneth and Betty Weibel, her husband James White Sr., and her sisters Patricia Bentler and Darlene Weibel.

A special thank you is extended to the staff at Guthrie Towanda Personal Care Home for the excellent care they provided to Alice over the past ten years, with particular gratitude to Amber for her compassionate support.

A Private Graveside service will be held in Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, PA.
