Allan W. Lyons formerly of New Hyde Park, NY died on May 24, 2025 at the age of 94.

He was a devoted son of the late Anne Viola (Clairmonte) Lyons and Wilbert Charles Lyons.

Allan was born in Brooklyn, NY and graduated (PBK) from Queens College in 1957.  He later received his MBA from NYU in 1968.  Allan was a retired lease analyst for Helmsley-Spear, Inc.  He had worked earlier in Europe for Pam Am Air and American Express.  During the years 1952 to 1954 Allan served with the U.S. Army 302nd Military Intelligence Co. in Korea.  He achieved the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.  In 2011 Allan moved to Mulberry Towers in Scranton to live near his cousin, Carol Carpenter, and her family.  The last three years of his life he was a resident at Gino J. Merli Veterans Center in Scranton, PA.  The family would like to thank the staff for providing excellent care during his time there.

Interment will be in Lamb Cemetery, Jackson, PA.
