Amy (Klym) Conklin, 52, of Endicott, NY passed away after a valiant fight with cancer on Friday, September 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at UHS Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.
Amy was predeceased by her father John Raymond Klym.
She is survived by her son, light of her life and caregiver for 6 years Kevin Conklin; Mother Lillian (Plutino) Klym; aunts and uncles Mary & Jesse Gow, Linda & Richard Norris, Barbara Glover, and Carol Klym; special nephew John Turner Jr. as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Amy was born on January 11, 1970, in Susquehanna, PA. She graduated from Susquehanna Community High School in 1987. Following graduation, she attended Broome Community College and the Elmira Business Institute. Amy worked at Broome Tioga BOCES in the accounts payable department for the past 15 years. She was an avid Steelers fan and loved Tigger. Amy also loved her cat “Precious” and dog “Ally”. Most important to Amy was spending time with her friends and family who will miss her dearly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 9:30am at St. John’s Church in Susquehanna, PA.
The family will receive friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 5 to 8pm.
Amy’s family is requesting that all the Steelers fan’s wear their attire for the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA 18847 to help the family offset the costs of funeral expenses.
