Ann Elizabeth Lloyd, 61, a much-loved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away on December 7, 2023 at the Cooperstown Center in Cooperstown.

She was born December 16, 1961 in Hancock, the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (McLeary) Lloyd.

She graduated from Deposit High School, and then North County Community College in Saranac Lake before, working as a traveling agent in Albany NY and eventually becoming a Licensed Nurse. She enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, including her visit to Fatima (Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima in Portugal).

She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Deposit, and later in life St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Laurens. She was an active volunteer organizing her local food pantry and volunteering for Hospice.

Ann lived in Walton, Deposit and Windsor, before settling in Laurens where she quickly grew to become a well-known member of the community while raising her daughter. The past four years she spent her days among warm and loving friends and staff at Robynwood Assisted Living Community.

Despite a life long battle with health complications, Ann’s personality and spirit remained unwavering with her warmhearted nature.  She had an ever-giving personality and would open her house with genuine care for those in need of her love.

She is survived by her daughter Katlyn (Stephen) Parsons of Haverhill, MA, grandchild Finley, her mother Elizabeth Lloyd, five sisters Mary Jo, Sue, Pat, Laurie, Judy, two brothers Jim, Steven, several nieces and nephews along with a few great, and great great nieces and nephews.

On December 29, 2023, calling hours will be held at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 2nd St. Deposit, NY at 1:00pm to 2:00pm with the funeral services following at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 98 2nd St. Deposit, NY at 2:15pm. Refreshments to follow the service.
