Anthony Bednarz, 84, of Deposit, NY passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at his home.

He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years in May Margaret Bednarz; son Anthony James Bednarz Jr.; parents Charles & Anna Bednarz; siblings Charles Bednarz Jr. Evelyn Delimon, Mary Trumper, Robert Bednarz, Stanley Bednarz, and Ronald Bednarz.

Anthony is survived by his children Mary Nohomovich (Brian), Ronald Bednarz (Maria), Craig Bednbarz (Charleen), grandchildren Brian Nohomovich Jr. (Megan), Lisa Lobins (Sean), Mark Nohomovich, Toniann Bednarz (Greg), Craig Bednarz Jr., and Ronald Bednarz Jr.; great grandchildren Davina and Madelyn; siblings Shirley Trumper and Andrew Bednarz; many nieces and nephews.

Anthony was a Union Carpenter until his retirement. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Jets fan. He also loved Johnny Cash. Anthony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm.
