Anthony Stanley Gerchman

Anthony Stanley Gerchman Of Susquehanna, PA Anthony “Tony” S. Gerchman, 94 of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Barnes Kasson Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony B. & Angela (Mesinik) Gerchman; and brothers Joseph, Thomas and Carl Gerchman. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Evelyn (Potter) Gerchman; daughters Amy Young Cindy Gerchman Wood; grandchildren, Paul and Sara Young; sister Mary Gerchman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tony was a licensed radio operator from an early age. He was a member of the Merchant Marines; joining during WWII. Following his time in the merchant marines he owned a radio repair shop in Forest City, PA. Finally, he worked at RCA as technician until his retirement. Tony was member of the Freedom Masons in Thompson, PA where he became a Master Mason; traveling throughout PA. He was a lifetime member of the North Jackson United Methodist Church; where he was a lay speaker. Tony will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no funeral services at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
