Anthony Vincent Viviano Of Deposit, NY Anthony Vincent Viviano, 27, of Deposit, NY passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents John & Lorraine Viviano and maternal grandfather James Mills. Anthony is survived by his mother, Lisa Mills and her husband Rob; his father, John William Viviano Jr. and his wife Lila, his siblings John Viviano III, Lacey Viviano, Jarae Cornwell, and Kasey Fitzsimmons; his grandmother Patricia Mills; many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. Those fortunate enough to have met Anthony would often tell him he was ‘an old soul’. He had a caring, understanding and compassionate nature (for which, he earned the endearing title ‘sweetie man’ from his mama) that was well-balanced with a youthful yet respectfully-rebellious and just attitude with a hippy-esq, carefree but so very sweetly caring and empathetic character. He had a passion for making music, playing the guitar, drums and singing. Anthony was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, despite said shirt being one of his only three tee’s, that’s still going strong on a 2 week streak since it’s last seen the inside of a washing machine, soaked in the day’s labor intensive sweat of a pridefully hard working mason. That is, of course, if you were deemed to be in such a state of need and if you should find yourself in such a desperate position that you’d be willing to accept such a generous offer. Anthony focused on the things in life that held deeper meaning, leaving him with a lackadaisical concern for fashion. His father was not the only one who had made multiple hopeless, lovingly concerned yet failed-attempts to persuade Anthony to put a bit more time and effort into his appearance, telling him he looked like ’Joe Shit the Ragmin’. Anthony decided this name was both humorous and well-fitting and he carried this moniker with him into his musical endeavors, which he has made available for your viewing pleasure on both Facebook and Youtube. He was an honest and hard-working man, who deeply loved his family and friends. He was happiest being outdoors with his dog Ruth. He was a free spirit, backpacking across the country several times with only his essentials; his guitar and his dog. He was proud of his work as a stone mason, and enjoyed riding and working on his Harley Davidson and his firetruck, which he intended to be his future mobile home for his next planned, more lavish cross-country adventure. He was respected and loved by all in his extended family. He was a person of great character and strength. He left his family too early, and will be deeply missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Noon at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 10am to Noon.
