She is survived by her children Richard (Irene), Linda (Ron), Barbara (Russ), and Allen (Jenny), daughter-in-law Janet, and niece Beverly (Jay) who was also like a daughter to her, plus numerous grandchildren, and a few great-grandchildren. She dearly loved her grandchildren as well as her great nieces and nephews with whom she often spent holidays and visits. Ardith was born in Elbridge, NY, attended Norwich High School, and later lived in Windsor, NY and Susquehanna, PA. She was an enthusiastic bowler and was especially lucky at Bingo. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and word search. She volunteered at various community events in Windsor, NY and could be found diligently working at the Windsor Grange pancake suppers enjoyed by so many. In later life she took part in community events with her fellow residents at the Kime Apartments in Great Bend, PA. She was a passionate supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. At Ardith’s request there were no funeral services. She was laid to rest at South Windsor Cemetery in Windsor, NY.
