Barbara Hadden, 72, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

She was predeceased by parents Charles & June (Henry) Downton; and sister Bonnie Downton.

Barbara is survived by her children Shawn & Angela Hadden, Todd & Anne Hadden, and Amanda & Allen Johnson; grandchildren Alexis, Tyler, Cora, Dylan, Cienna, and Logan; siblings, Peggy & Bill Bennett, Dee & Bob Martin, JoAnn Thomas, Jack & Kathy Downton, Pete & Vickie Downton; many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was born in Susquehanna, PA and raised in Starrucca, PA. She graduated from Susquehanna Community High School in 1968. Barbara work as a general manager at MacDonald’s; she began her career in Hancock, NY and continued in North Carolina. She also won the Ray Crock Award from MacDonalds. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors. Most of all Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 1pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 11am till 1pm.

Interment will be held in the Starrucca Cemetery, Starrucca, PA.
