Bernard A. June, Sr.

                                                                    BERNARD ABRAHAM JUNE                                                                                                                                                                   Age 90, avid outdoorsman Bernard was born Susquehanna, Pa. , son of Bernard June and Lillie (Lewis) June.  He lived most of his life on a family farm in Harmony Township.  Bernard was a farmer, hunter, stone quarry man and woodsman.  He was also employed many years at Phillips Foundry, Binghamton, NY.  He enjoyed hunting with family members and friends and on occasion a good party. Mr. June passed away on Tuesday Oct. 16 at the Skilled Nursing Facility of Barnes Kasson Hospital.  The family would like to thank the staff for their kind and excellent care of our loved one. Bernard’s lovely wife, Beatrice E. (Croucher) June passed away February 2001.  Bernard is survived by five children—Lillie, Diane, Yvonne, Bernard, and Sandra, and some of their spouses.   There are 12 grandchildren, several   great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.   There will be a gravesite service for the family at a later date.   Interment will be at Thompson Cemetery, Thompson, PA, with loving wife, Bea.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Barnes Kasson Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility, 2872 Turnpike St., Susquehanna, PA 18847, attn activity dept.
