Bert LeRoy Hendrickson Of Deposit, NY Bert LeRoy Hendrickson, 74, of Deposit, NY passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at UHS Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY. Bert was predeceased by Bertie & Beatrice (Stark) Hendrickson and his siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Mary Lou (Scott) Hendrickson; children Scott & Jody Hendrickson and children, Meredith & Clarence Decker and children, Nicole & Andrew Lindow and children, Amber & Dan Brower and children; stepson Patrick McCann; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; siblings Edith, Laura and Ray; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bert worked at Mallery’s Lumber for several years until his retirement. After retiring Bert was always helping his neighbors and friends mowing yards and plowing snow. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tractors. His pride and joy was his house which he maintained meticulously. Bert loved his family especially spending time with his grandchildren. He was a very outspoken man who was a dedicated and hardworking father who will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Noon at First Baptist Church, 139 Second St. Deposit, NY with a luncheon to follow. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 11am to Noon.
