Betty (Snyder) Boerner, 93, of Oakland, Susquehanna, PA entered eternal rest Wednesday, November 23, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Marian (Bailey) and Foster Snyder of Susquehanna, PA.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years Frederic E. Boerner, April 24, 2016.

Betty is survived by one daughter and her husband Jeri (Boerner) and Kenneth Stead, Binghamton, NY. Four sons and Tracy Boerner (Jennifer Bixby), Susquehanna, PA, Jon & Judith Boerner, Susquehanna, PA, Jeffery & Christine Boerner, West Windsor, NY, and Robert & Tammie Boerner, Endicott, NY.

She is also survived by her grandchildren – Kendal (Stead) & Robert Haigh, West Palm Beach, FL, Kyle Stead and  Angela Hawley, Lake Placid, NY, Jeremy & Kristin Boerner, Susquehanna, PA, Jordan Boerner, Susquehanna, PA, Jamie & Anna Boerner, Binghamton, NY, Carissa (Boerner) & William Martin, Conklin, NY, Janelle (Boerner) & Dominic Caminiti, Binghamton, NY: great-grandchildren Oliva and Elle Martin, Dalton and Colt Boerner,  and Silas Stead; one sister Joan M. Snyder, of Johnson City, NY, and many cousins.

Betty was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 4pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA with Christine Boerner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 1 to 4pm.

Private Interment will take place in North Jackson Cemetery.
