Betty L Harrison (AKA) “Betty Boop”, 84, of Amarillo, TX, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025.

Betty was born on November 20, 1940, to Pearl (Griffith) and George Cobb. She was originally from Thompson, PA. Betty was known for her sassy sense of humor and her love of her kitty cats. She was beloved by her family and will be missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Slocum, of Scranton, PA; daughter, Carol Slocum of Morriston, FL; son, Scott Slocum and wife Christine of Hamburg, PA; and son-in-law, Mark Bailey of Amarillo, TX. She was also greatly loved by ten grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; sister, Gloria Dayton of Green, NY, sister, Geraldine Hall of Susquehanna, PA; and sister, Joann Shofkom of Susquehanna, PA.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harrison; both her parents; brother, George Cobb; daughter, Lorie Lesh, daughter, Karen Bailey; and great-granddaughters, Abigail Lesh and Abigail Slocum.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from Noon to 1pm.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
