Brett McEwen Of Lanesboro, Pa. Brett McEwen,45, of Lanesboro, Pa. passed away Monday June 15, 2015 at the Athens Health & Rehab Center, Athens, PA after a courage battle with cancer. He is survived by his father William L. McEwen; mother Barbara Evans; two daughters Jennifer McEwen and Jessica McEwen; two sisters Melissa & Mike Friedman and Kelly & Rob Tanskey; granddaughter Alecsandria Youngs; three stepchildren Richard Ianuale, Gregory Ianuale, Janet Ianuale; former companion Carolyn Thompson; several nieces and nephews. He worked for Ed Green Stone Quarry before his illness. The funeral service will be held on Saturday June 20th at 11am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, Pa. with Pastor Kevin Setzer officiating. Burial will be in the North Jackson Cemetery in North Jackson, Pa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 to 11am.
