Brian Richard Anderson, born on June 23, 1976, at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY, passed away on November 17, 2025, at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. He was a devoted father and a beloved member of his community, known for his dedication to both family and career.

Throughout his life, Brian built a rewarding career as a union carpenter and was a valued member of the NE Regional Union #277. His skills and commitment to his trade earned him the respect of his peers and satisfaction in his craft.

Growing up, Brian attended Deposit Central High School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He embraced life with passion, enjoying a variety of hobbies including boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, motocross, camping, and dirt track racing at Penn Can Speedway. These interests often brought him joy and adventure.

Brian is survived by his girlfriend, Jessica Miller, who was the love of his life. He leaves behind his cherished children: Jameson, Jakob, and Emma, as well as Tanner Gifford, whom he loved as his own. His family also includes his mother Patricia VanPelt and her husband David, along with his siblings: Matthew, Jimmy, Darcy, Debbie, and Denise. Brian's childhood friends Shawn Mills and Adam Morley, along with the Al Decker family, held a special place in his heart. He was also deeply grateful for the supportive presence of Betty Reynolds and Mindy Mills, who acted as second mothers to him throughout his life.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, James Anderson, and stepmother, Kathleen Anderson.

The visitation for Brian will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 3:00 PM, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, located at 78 2nd St., Deposit, NY 13754.

Brian Anderson will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, unwavering work ethic, and loving nature. His legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
