Brittany Diane Macumber passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Brittany was predeceased by her mother Jennifer VanLuvender.

She is survived by her father Robert K. Macumber and Stepmom/Mother Jessica Macumber; brothers Brandon (Kassi) Macumber, Trenton Macumber, Tanner Macumber and sister Pagen Macumber; Grandparents Laurie and John VanLuvender, and Robert J. and Jane Macumber; Great Grandmothers Elizabeth Lloyd and Clare Van Luvender; Niece Kendall; Nephew Granger; Aunts Lisa Macumber,  Jamie VanLuvender; Uncles John (Alissa) VanLuvender, Michael VanLuvender; special Aunt Mary Jo Post; and many cousins.

Brittany was raised in Deposit, NY and graduated from Deposit Central School. She was involved in cheerleading, loved to read, and enjoyed coloring. She enjoyed hunting and was known to be an excellent shot; some would even say she was better than the boys. She liked playing cards and board games and Nintendo Wii/Playstation games with her brothers, sister and cousins. After graduation, Brittany worked for Barnes and Kasson Nursing Home in Susquehanna, PA  and Susquehanna Nursing Home in Johnson City, NY as a CNA. Brittany will be deeply missed by those close to her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 10am at St. Joseph’s Church, 98 Second St. Deposit, NY.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit, NY.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY.
