Bryan Michael McCoy, of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 3, 2026. He was 53 years old.

Born on December 2, 1972, in Prescott, Arizona, Bryan grew up to become the kind of person everyone was glad to know. He graduated from Bradshaw Mountain High School and carried a big heart with him wherever he went. Bryan was a people person through and through, always ready to laugh, crack a joke, and put a smile on someone's face.

More than anything, Bryan believed in giving. He spent so much of his life helping others, often doing for other people before he ever did for himself. He was kindhearted to the core and truly believed that everyone deserved a second chance. Whether he had known you for years or had just met you, Bryan had a way of leaving an impression that stuck with you.

He was also good with his hands and loved to stay busy. Remodeling homes, buying and working on cars, Bryan enjoyed the kind of work that let him build and fix things. As a brother and a friend, he always tried to be there when people needed him the most, standing up for family and friends alike.

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, Sally Lou McCoy and James Mack McCoy; his sisters, Peggy Flack and Barbara McCoy; and his brothers, David McCoy and Charles McCoy.

He is survived by his brothers, Bobby, Ryan, and Richard McCoy; his sister, Mary McCoy; his nephews, Sean Mercodo and Guy Mercodo; his nieces, Amanda McCoy and Ashley Gahard; brother-in-law James Gahard and his daughter Ashley; and his dear friends Brenda Lyman and Dawn Brainard. 

We are blessed to have had Bryan for the time that we did. We are going to miss him dearly. Thanks to his friends who have helped us get through this difficult time.
