Carol Ann Gardner Of Starrucca, PA   Carol Gardner, 72, of Starrucca, PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 22, 2019 due to kidney disease. She was born April 26, 1947 in Danville, PA and lived in Starrucca since the age of 5. Carol loved her family and friends and her life in the country. She enjoyed knitting winter hats, scarves and mittens for those she loved and was happy to donate many to various church groups for the homeless. The Gardner family always had a dog or two and all were Carol’s favorites; Smokey, Duke, Shadow and Cooper to name a few. She was a jigsaw puzzler, she and her mom put together hundreds over the years. Carol was predeceased by her brother Kevin in March of this year, her mother Harriet in 2009 and father Kenneth in 1992. She is survived by her brother Kenneth (Martha) Gardner of Orlando, FL and sister Kathe (Frank) Sabo of Georgetown, TX along with many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Monday October 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kevin Setzer officiating at Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave, Susquehanna, PA 18847. Burial will be at the Starrucca Cemetery, Starrucca, PA.
