Carol A. Roe
Of Susquehanna, PA
Carol A. Roe, born August 11, 1943, in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her home in Lanesboro, Pennsylvania, on June 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved daughter of Arthur and Marion June Sr., both of whom preceded her in death. Carol was also reunited in rest with her loving husband, Frederick Roe Sr., as well as her cherished siblings: Dorothy June, Arthur June Jr., Ruth Whitmore, Lillian Carr, and Charles June.
A proud graduate of Susquehanna Community High School, Carol went on to work as a seamstress at Matis's Manufacturing, until her retirement. She also spent time working at Kroehler's Manufacturing.
Carol’s home was one filled with warmth, love, and the aromas of home-cooked meals and baked treats. She found great joy in crafts, sewing, gardening, cooking, and baking, sharing her skills and passions generously with her family and neighbors. Her heart was especially full when caring for and babysitting her grandchildren. Christmas held a special place in Carol’s heart, as it was her favorite holiday—a time she dedicated to celebration, making memories, and bringing joy to everyone around her. She also loved to spoil her dogs.
She was cherished by her children: sons Frederick Roe Jr., Kevin Roe and his wife Irene, Jason Roe and his wife Sherrie, and daughter Tina Roe; her grandchildren—Shannon Barber, Dylan Roe, Jordan Jicha, Lyndsie Jicha, and Haylie Jicha—and her great-grandchildren: Bailey, Destiny, Logan, Carter, Aurora, Adalynn, Ryah, Jackson, and Bogumil; special niece, Tina Ferrante, as well as additional nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carol was known as the neighborhood mom, always opening her heart and home to those in need, with an ever-present smile and a comforting presence.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 3pm to 5pm at the American Legion Post 86, 1234 Main St. Susquehanna, PA 18847.
Interment will be held in the Lanesboro Cemetery.
