Carol Ann Trevarthan Of Oakland, PA Carol Ann Trevarthan, 67 of Oakland, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. She was predeceased by Gerald & Doris Washburn and son David Trevarthan II. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 47 years David Trevarthan; children Jason Trevarthan, Jackie & Greg Murray; Shain & Michael Marbut; and Roxanne Trevarthan; grandchildren Kara, Aydan, Alex, Lukas, and David III; sisters Caren Henry and Connie Groover and many nieces and nephews. Carol was born and raised in Susquehanna, PA. After high school she married her husband, David. In 1975 David joined the Army and Carol traveled with him in the military for 20 years until his retirement. She was a Mayor of the Army housing unit in Fort Drum, NY for 4 years. She volunteered for the Army Military Relief for many years. Carol was very involved within the Oakland Community such as planning activities for Oakland Rec, being involved in the town council and serving as Judge of Elections for many years. Carol enjoyed sewing, traveling, and lending a hand to anyone in need. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed by all. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
