Of Lakeview, PA

Cathy Chamberlain, 62 of Lakeview, PA, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 23, 2022.

She was predeceased by her son Paul William Chamberlain; father Gerald Balmer; brother Maeland Balmer; mother and father-in-law William A. & Constance Chamberlain; sister-in-law Cathy A. White; brother-in-law Alan Vogel; Great niece Ansley Vogel; step father George Houghton.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years William C. Chamberlain; children Shannon Flynn, Matthew & Karissa Chamberlain, and Debra Chamberlain; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren;  mother Jonyca McKinney; sister Kelly (Balmer) & Jason Heeman; brother-in-law Tom & Chris Chamberlain; a loving brother-in-law Brian White; sisters -in-law Linda Vogel, and Candy & Bryan Roosa; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a friend to everyone she met. She Loved to talk and never said no to anything. She loved animals, canning, gardening, and she was best known for baking cakes in years past. Her kids and grandkids always came first no matter what. Cathy’s favorite place to go was Lancaster, PA and most recently Watkins Glenn. She was a dear friend to a lot of people, and she will be deeply missed.

Special thanks to the nursing staff at Barnes Kasson Hospital, Doctor B. Patel and the New Milford Ambulance. Also, thank you to a special friend of Cathy’s Debbie Pease for her taxi service to Divita. She enjoyed your company very much and her whole family appreciates that you did.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 10am at North Jackson United Methodist Church, North Jackson, PA.

The family will receive friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 5 to 8pm.
