Cathy J. LaBarre Of Susquehanna, PA Catherine J. LaBarre, 66 of Susquehanna, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her home. Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Gordon LaBarre; mother Dorothy Jaywire; children Alicia & Jason Ross (son-in-law), Libertad Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez, and Armondo Gonzalez; several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Born in Queens, New York she began her career at a young age as a LPN in South Nassau County Hospital. She then moved to upstate New York where she became a nurse at Vestal Nursing Center for many years. Following her time in Vestal she worked at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA until her retirement. She was a kind and giving person. Cathy enjoyed reading and adored her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed spending time with Erika and Jj. She will be dearly missed by her family. At Cathy’s request there will be no Funeral Services.
