Charles Beamer Of Susquehanna, PA Charles Beamer, 74, of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at his home. He was predeceased by his father Jack Albert Beamer; brother Doug Beamer; sister Jackie Dumas; grandson Jeremy Deaton; and nephews Troy and Eric Beamer. Charles is survived by his loving wife Cathy Beamer; mother Marie Gill; sons Charles & Donna Deaton; Mike & Erica Beamer, Jack & Christen Beamer, Shane Wolf; daughter Candy Deaton Stepp; step children, Teresa Covert, Lisa Covert, Russell & Amy Covert, Jennifer & Pip Yannone, Katie & Tai Davis; brother Chester Beamer; sister Vicki Ledford; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Charles was a welder who worked for PennDOT for over 25 years until his retirement. He was also a talented fabricator who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Charles was an SAL member of the American Legion Post 86 in Susquehanna, PA. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, and golf. He bowled in different leagues throughout the years and served as secretary for both the leagues and local association. Charles was an accomplished bowler who collected several 300 games and 800 series. He always allowed the neighborhood kids to use his pool during the summer. Charles will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 10am at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. Interment will be held in the Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 5 to 8pm. There will be a Luncheon at the American Legion Post 86 following funeral services on Friday.
