Charles Wesley Davis Of Thompson, PA Charles Wesley Davis of Thompson, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday at Thompson Baptist Church. Charles was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 11, 1933 to William and Maud Davis. After graduation from high school, he joined the United States Army. He served in the 101st Airborne as a communications specialist. After his service with the Army, he married Betty Alshouse in June 1956. Together they became the proud parents of five children. Mr. Davis will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all those who knew him. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful church organist and Sunday School teacher for many years. He also served as a deacon in the church for over 40 years. Charles is survived by his children Bruce Davis, Glenn Davis, Nancy Muckenfuss, Susan Wilson and Brian Davis as well as 14 grandchildren 1 great-grandchild with 2 more on the way. He will be missed but always remembered.
