Charles June, 65, of Susquehanna, PA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, PA.

He was born on June 12, 1957, son of the late Arthur & Marion (Lake) June; brother Arthur June, sisters Ruth Whitmore, Lillian Carr and Dorothy June; nephews Michael Whitmore and Donald Whitmore.

Charles is survived by his lifelong companion of 36 years Robin Tanner; his children Kristy (Dan) Vandewert, Kelly (Jeff) Clark; step daughter April (Michael) Donovan; sister Carol Ann (Fred) Roe; grandchildren Kendra Cole, Gavin Tanner (Madison Welstead), Aiden and Killian.

Charles was a graduate of Susquehanna Community High School. He attended both Broome Community College and Binghamton University majoring in Computer Science. He worked for BAE systems and also GPU, USA Today, Binghamton Press & Sun Bulletin. He enjoyed his time bowling and participating in fantasy football. He also loved spending time with his great grandchildren Elliana, Brantlee, Grayson Cole.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Evergreen Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA, with a green balloon send off as a special request by his great granddaughter Elliana. Following the Celebration there will be a luncheon at the American Legion Post 86, Susquehanna, PA.
