Charles J. Rivenburg, 80, of Lakewood, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Forest City Nursing and Rehab -SNF in Forest City, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents Ernest J. & Pauline Rivenburg Sr.; first wife Wanda Rivenburg and second wife Anna Rivenburg; brother Leon Rivenburg; and sister Mary S. Martier.

Charles is survived by his daughter Peggy Sanders; siblings Ruth R. Cook, Ida M. Lewis, Jean R. Phillips, Florence A. Payne, Leroy D. Rivenburg, Clara E. Rivenburg, John R. Rivenburg, Joseph R. Rivenburg, and Ernest J. Rivenburg Jr.; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Charles was born in Susquehanna, PA on January 8, 1945. He was raised in Susquehanna with his brothers and sisters. Charles was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charles worked at the Sawmill and Hallstead Foundry. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 6pm at, Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm.
