Charles R. Wolfe, 76, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Gino Merle Veterans Center in Scranton, PA.

He was predeceased by his parents Leslie & Ethel Wolfe; wife Patricia Ann (Fisher) Wolfe; and sister Patricia Maharg.

Charles is survived by his children Lucky Wolfe (Linda Fox) and Rusty Wolfe (Theresa); grandchildren Alison Wolfe, Jerry Corrente, Joseph Smith, Anthony Wolfe and Brandon Wolfe; 11 great grandchildren; siblings Vicky & Brett Mowry; Leslie & Betty Wolfe; many nieces and nephews.

Charles was born and raised in Columbus Ohio and graduated there as well. After graduating he enrolled in the United States Air Force where he served as an Airplane Mechanic for 21 years until his retirement. He met his wife while in the service and moved to Susquehanna, once he retired. Charles enjoyed animals and was an avid outdoorsman. He also loved to work with his hands and was able to fix anything in need of repair. Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Noon, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

Interment will be held in Starrucca Cemetery, Starrucca, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 10am till Noon.
