Clyde E. BoughtonOf Susquehanna, PA    Clyde E. Boughton, 93 of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA after an illness. Clyde was predeceased by his parents Earl & Lily (Westervelt) Boughton; sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Ray Testa; Brothers and Sisters-in-law Earl and Evelyn Boughton and Douglas and Marjorie Boughton. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Doris (Limbert) Boughton; son and daughter-in-law Jeffery and Nancy Boughton; grandchildren, Christi Albert, Julie & Pete Rowe, and Mitch & Nancy Boughton; great grandchildren, Liam, Rowan, Adelyn, Logan and Stella; brother and sister-in-law Crosby & Ruth Boughton; special niece Frances Rudolph; and many nieces and nephews. Clyde served in the United States Army during WWII. After his time in the service he worked for the Railroad and Pompey Motors. Clyde then became owner and operator of Boughton’s Auto Salvage in Susquehanna, PA, where he worked with his son and grandson until his retirement. Clyde loved working on cars, and was known as the “Rollover King of PennCann Speedway”. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Susquehanna, PA. Clyde will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. The family would like to extend a “Thank you” to Dr. Schell, Dr. Caston, and Dr. B. Patel as well as the Second Floor staff at the Barnes Kasson Hospital for their excellent care of Clyde. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Noon at the Brushville Baptist Church, 4572 Brushville Road, Susquehanna, PA with Rev. Alex Vosburgh officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 10am to Noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barnes Kasson Hospital, 2872 Turnpike St. Susquehanna, PA.
