Crosby B. Boughton Of Susquehanna, PA Crosby B. (Bing) Boughton, 87, of Susquehanna, passed away January 13, 2022, at Gracious Living Estates, Montrose, PA, after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lillian Boughton, his sister, Joyce Testa, and his brothers Roy Boughton, Clyde Boughton, and Douglas Boughton. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth (French) Boughton of Susquehanna; four sons, Roger Boughton and wife Linda of Goldvein, VA; Robert Boughton and wife Linda of Owego, NY; Daniel Boughton, Sr. and Judy Consla of Lanesboro; and Gary Boughton of Susquehanna; four grandchildren, Daniel Boughton Jr., Rachael Boughton, Adam Boughton, and Alex Boughton; and two greatgrandchildren. Crosby honorably served in the U.S. Navy reaching the rank of Second Class Petty Officer. He worked for General Electric as an electronics technician for over 30 years at the Johnson City plant. After retirement, he spent time working at his brother Clyde’s auto salvage yard in Susquehanna. Crosby was always tinkering on something. He enjoyed electronics and ran a TV repair business in the late 70’s. He also loved working on cars and would obtain wrecked ones from his brother’s salvage yard and spend time fixing them. He also drove stock cars having competed at the Penn Can Speedway on numerous occasions. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1pm at Hennessey's Funeral Home, Inc. 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from Noon to 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Crosby’s name to the Montrose Minute Men, Inc., P.O. Box 461, Montrose, PA 18801.
