Of Deposit, NY

Dale Alan Corson, 63, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, in Deposit, NY, at the age of 63. Born on December 10, 1962, in Binghamton, NY.

He attended Whitney Point School, Dale chose to stay close to his roots, building a meaningful life surrounded by family and friends in the Southern Tier of New York. His strong work ethic was evident in every step of his varied career. Dale worked at several manufacturing companies throughout the region, exemplifying reliability and commitment in each role. He also served at Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal, NY, and contributed his skills in maintenance at Binghamton School and Whitney Point.

Beyond his work, Dale was most at home in the company of those he loved. He found great pleasure in the simple joys: hunting, riding ATVs through the rugged countryside, and gathering with his family for meals, laughter, and lasting memories. Family time was Dale’s greatest treasure, and he held these moments close to his heart.

Travel held a special place in Dale’s life, especially the many trips with his beloved wife, Shelly, to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was there, that he proposed to Shelly—a cherished memory that stands as a testament to the enduring love they shared.

Dale is survived by his devoted wife, Shelly. He leaves a legacy of love and guidance to his children: Jessica (Damion), Justin (Ariel), and Danielle (Chad); his grandchildren Tate, Jayden, Eyan, Alannah, Airabelle, Brysiin, Caysiin, and Dacey; dogs Elsa and Sassy.

He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister Kim and her husband Kyle Giles, and by his brother Tracy Corson. His memory is cherished by his nephews Nick & Kate, and Nate.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Norbert Corson and mother Shirley Johnson Corson and favorite dogs Cardi & Daisy Mae.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
