Dane Raymond Edwards, 28, of Deposit, NY passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Donnie and Edie Edwards.

Dane is survived by his son Dante Edwards (his mother Alli Vividor); parents Dennis & Michelle (Brown) Edwards; siblings Michael Nugent, Christopher Nugent, Dakota & Jenah Edwards, and Caleb Decker; companion Miranda Brown and daughter Juniper; grandparents Roy Russell and Glenn & Gayle Brown; Aunts & Uncles Donna & David Holmes, David & Lucy Edwards, and Cheryl Freer; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Dane was born on July 16, 1996, in Johnson City, NY, and was raised in Deposit, NY. He graduated from Deposit Central High School where he participated in many sports. He had a passion for playing football. Dane was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, hunting, and mushroom foraging. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing pranks on his family and friends. Dane also enjoyed helping in the community with youth sports. He was a loving father who cared deeply about spending time with his son Dante and Juniper. Dane will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 12:00pm at the Sherman Bible Chapel, 10 Center Street, Deposit, NY 13754.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the Chapel.

There will be a luncheon to follow.
