David G. Cole Of South Gibson, PA David G. Cole, 86, of South Gibson, PA, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011, at the Meadowview Senor Living Center, in Montrose, PA. He was born in Gelatt, PA, the son of the late Harry and Lucille Cole. David was predeceased by his wife Betty C. Cole, in 1998. He is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharen and Danny Griffin of South Gibson, PA, and Darlene and Leroy Weidow, of Jackson, PA; two grandchildren Eric and Allison Griffin of South Gibson, PA, and Lee David Weidow of Dunmore, PA; and three great grandchildren, Lee and Gabrielle Weidow and Samantha Griffin; and longtime friend and companion Marion Little. David and his wife Betty owned and operated a dairy farm in Gibson Township for more than 40 years. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011, at 4pm. at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson, Ave. Susquehanna, PA, with Rev. Lynn Tompkins officiating. Burial will be held in the Gelatt Cemetery, Gelatt, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, on Monday, June 27, 2011, from 1 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
