David E. Hauber, 82, of Deposit, NY, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Mercy House of the Southern Tier in Endicott, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents Leonard & Virginia (Lobdell) Hauber and wife Monica Hauber.

David is survived his daughter Stacie Hall; three grandchildren, Matthew, Morgan, and Bailey; partner Sandra Richardson; two brothers Richard Hauber and John Hauber; as well as many nieces and nephews.

David was born in McClure, NY on February 19, 1943, and graduated from Deposit Central High School. Following high school, he served 4 years in the United States Navy. After his service he attended college at Delhi and Cortland where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Throughout his career he worked for Norwich Pharmaceuticals and Sara Lee in Winston Salem North Carolina. After he retired from Sara Lee he started Hauber Development Company with his wife Monica. Following his wife’s passing David returned to Deposit, NY, where he and his partner Sandra played golf, traveled throughout the country in their camper, and spent winters in Florida. David will be missed by his loving family and friends.

At David’s request there will be no funeral services.
