David Wayne Lester, 69, of Deposit, NY, formerly of Hancock, NY passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

He was born March 12, 1953 to William & Lillian Lester. David married Iva Fuller Lester on September 3, 1972.

He was predeceased by his parents Bill & Lillian; son Patrick Lester; and brother-in-law Ronald Fuller.

David is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Iva Lester; son and daughter-in-law David William & Amy Lester; 3 grandchildren William, Katrina and Devin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Howard & John Fuller-Strauss, Carol & Walt Baker, John & Esther Fuller, Doug & Nancy Fuller, Albert Fuller, Joyce & Alan Kellam; many nieces and nephews; and faithful companion Happy.

David was a very loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved watching Nascar and the Buffalo Bills as well as listening to the band “Who”. He worked at Mallory Lumber in Hancock, NY for many years until his retirement. David will be missed by his loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
