  David J. SnyderOf Susquehanna, PA  David J. Snyder, 83 of Oak Hill Road Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at his home. David was survived by his loving wife of 61 years Arline (June) Synder; three daughters and son-in-law Darlene and Carl Mallery, Dorene Murphy, and Susan Shay; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. David was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked in the Hallstead Foundry for 35 years and following that he worked 17 years at the Ed Greene Stone Yard. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and was a member of the Canawacta Rod and Gun Club. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 1pm at Bill’s Hilltop, Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Fire Department Ambulance, P.O. Box 175, Susquehanna, PA. Arrangements were made through the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, PA.
