Diana Marie Cook Of Lanesboro PA       Diana Marie (Glover) Cook, 63, of Lanesboro, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 30, 2015. Diana was predeceased by her brother Paul Glover and father Maynard Glover. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Stuart Cook, Lanesboro, PA; her daughter Amanda Cook, Lanesboro, PA; her son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Anne Cook, and two grandchildren, Owen and Kate Cook, Windsor, NY. Diana is also survived by her mother Marian L. Glover, Susquehanna, PA; her brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Mary Jo Glover, Susquehanna, PA; her sister Mary Mapes, Deposit, NY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Linda Cook, Tim and Judy Cook, both of Susquehanna; and Sister-in-law, Sandie Cook, Deposit, NY. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews; Todd Glover and Bridget Perry, Cullin and Nolan Mapes, Tracie Shipsky and Steven Glover, Steven Cook, Susan Whitney, and Karen Downton, Chad and Crystal Cook, and Seth Cook; and many great nieces and great nephews. Diana was born and raised in Susquehanna, PA, graduating from Susquehanna Community High School, Class of 1970. She was employed by Varsity Mfg. in Susquehanna until its closing. She then began work at McIntosh Laboratories, where she worked until she retired. Diana was a member of the Women of the Moose, the Susquehanna County Democrats, and the Susquehanna Football Booster Club. Those who knew Diana, knew that she was a woman of great strength and love. She was dedicated to her job and coworkers, but most of all her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Stuart, and a caring mother to her children, Kyle and Amanda, and of course her dog, Bella. She was a favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews. She never missed a birthday, sporting event, or dance recital. If you were to stop by her house you were likely to find her babysitting or baking. She always welcomed you with open arms and a smile, but her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren, Owen and Katie. Her final days at home were full of their hugs and kisses, as well as, squeals of their laughter. She will be missed by all and forgotten by no one. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2nd, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. at Hennessey’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please send monetary donations to The American Cancer Society.
