Diane M. Stone Of Starrucca, PA Diane M. Stone, 68 of Starrucca, PA passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at her home. She was predeceased by her parents Clarence & Anna (Laudino) Lane and brother Robert Lane. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Jeffrey Stone; son and daughter-in-law Louis & Mary Horvath; two grandchildren Benjamin and Grace Horvath; sisters-in-law Emily Horvath and Linda & Elwood Soden; many nieces and nephews. Diane is also survived by a very special friend Lynn Buchanan. She was always there for Diane in any way needed and her friendship means so much to her and Jeff. Diane had a spitfire personality that was admired and enjoyed by the family and friends that loved her. She had a huge heart for those friends and often spoke to them about her son, his wife and her beautiful grandchildren, whom she was very proud of. She enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, taking pictures of wildlife and nature and spending time with her fur baby Mei. She was always thinking of others and will be missed by many. The following poem is one that spoke to her enough to share it on her Facebook page and it seems appropriate to share it now. Epitaph By Merrit Malloy When I die give what’s left of me away to children and old men that wait to die. And if you need to cry, cry for your brother walking the street beside you. And when you need me, put your arms around anyone and give them what you need to give me. I want to leave you something, something better than words or sounds. Look for me in the people I’ve known or loved, and if you cannot give me away, at least let me live on in your eyes and not in your mind. You can love me best by letting hands touch hands, By letting bodies touch bodies, and by letting go of children that need to be free. Love doesn’t die, people do. So, when all that’s left of me is love, give me away. There will be no service at this time but a celebration of life will be held sometime in the future.
