Diane Wilcox (Lindquist) (Hadden)

Of Susquehanna, PA

Diane Wilcox, 86, of Lexington, North Carolina formerly of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, with family at her side.

She was predeceased by Robert Lindquist, brother Robert Hadden and sister Karen Towner.

Diane is survived by a daughter and son in law Debra and William Rombach of Lexington North Carolina, a son and daughter in law Michael and Linda Lindquist of Susquehanna, PA, one adopted son and daughter in law Jason and Angela Lindquist of Lafollette, TN; two sisters Sharon Ball and Judy Peltz of Susquehanna, PA; one brother Ralph Hadden Jr. of Thompson PA; 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Diane attended and graduated the last class that graduated from Laurel St. School; class of 1955. She was known to a lot of her friends as Princess Di and Sissy. She was also runner up in the 100th year centennial celebration sponsored by Benson Bros. Diane was one of the best waitresses in town; she worked at several establishments in Susquehanna, PA including Blanche’s Tea Room and The Town Restaurant. Mostly, she cherished spending time with family and friends. Her most recent favorite place was the swings by the lakeshore and watching her ducks. Diane lived a good full life and will be dearly missed.

Diane’s family will receive friends in her honor on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA 18847.

Interment will be in the Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, PA.
