Donald Petrone, 78, of Sherman, PA, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2022, with his beloved wife Faith by his side.

Don was born on November 4, 1943, in Newark, New Jersey. After Don graduated from Montclair High School in 1961, he then pursued a degree in Engineering at Newark College of Engineering.

After graduation, he worked in Engineering for over 25 years. He was passionate about Engineering and loved what he did for a living. During that time, he also owned Mar J’s diner for 4 years.

In 2000, he met his wife, Faith at the Fireside Inn, while playing in his band, Branded, where he was the lead singer.

Don was predeceased by his parents Carmen and Sophie Petrone, many aunts and uncles, his daughter Susan Petrone, and his long-life friend and band mate Mark Spaziani. He is survived by his wife Faith, his sister Barbra Petrone, his children, Patricia (Matt) Grexa, Michael Petrone, Shannon (Josh) Bosket, Shane (Tosha) Williams, Britini Merrill, Brett (Kayla) Merrill, and Shawn Merrill. His Grandchildren, Bob, Ben, Kate, Evelyn, Natalie, Payton, Jeffery, Charlotte, and Elliott.

Services will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 14 Monument St. Deposit, NY on October 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
