Durwood Tarbox Jr. Of Deposit, NY Durwood Tarbox Jr., 71, of Deposit, NY passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at UHS Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY. He is predeceased by his parents Durwood & Madeline Tarbox Sr.; and two sisters Donna and Shirleen. Durwood is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Judy Tarbox; son and daughter-in-law Luke & Amy Tarbox; three grandchildren Nathan, Cameron, and Aiden Tarbox; brother and sister-in-law Robert & Vickie Tarbox; sister-in-law Penny Daugherty; nieces Molly and Brandy; and nephew Robert Jr. Durwood was born and raised in Deposit, NY and graduated from Deposit Central School. He served in the United States Army. Durwood was a devoted member of the West Branch Bible Baptist Church in Deposit, NY. He drove truck for many years and after retirement he drove school bus. Durwood was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at West Branch Bible Baptist Church, 117 Front St. Deposit, NY 13754. The family will receive friends at the Church on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 4 to 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Broome County Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave. Binghamton, NY 13903.
