Ed James Donahue, 58 of New Milford, PA, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024.

He was predeceased by his parents James W. & Mable J. (Reed) Sr., and brother James W. Donahue Jr.

Ed is survived by his spouse of 10 years Mary Heiler; daughters and sons-in-law Michelle & Daniel Mangin and their 5 children, Beth & Bradley Powers and their 3 children, and Jeannette Donahue; sister and brother-in-law Cindy & James Sissler; sister-in-law Jaunita Donahue; brother Mike and Anna Dibble; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Julie & Scott O’Dell and their 4 children; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ed was born and raised in Afton, NY. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ed was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He held several jobs throughout his lifetime and was a talented tradesman who was able to fix anything. Ed was a caring individual who was willing to help anyone in need. He also had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 3pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, from 1pm to 3pm.
