Edward W. Wilmot Of Harpursville, NY Edward W. Wilmot,86, of Harpursville, NY formerly of Susquehanna, Pa. passed away Tuesday October 9, 2012 at the Binghamton General Hospital. He was predeceased by his first wife Jean and second wife Margaret. Edward is survived by four sons Phil; Manny & Fran; Donald; Nick; two daughters Cathy & Gene; Angela; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II and Disabled American Veteran. Edward was a 60 year member of the American Legion Post #86, VFW Post #6223 and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #794. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 13th at 11am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, Pa. with Rev. Carl Batzel officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, Pa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10am to 11am.
