Elaine Andusko of Hallstead, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Born in Dupont, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Mary Melnick.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph and brother Richard.

Elaine is survived by her son Joseph, his wife Kathleen (Nilsson) and granddaughters Lydia Grace and Kiera Riley Andusko, Hallstead, PA. Also, surviving are her brother and sister-in-law Fred and Sharon Melnick, Lords Valley, PA, and brother James Melnick, Lonoke, AR; her nieces, Christine Wolff, Denise Lindsey, Julie Madara, nephews Mark Melnick, James Melnick, John Melnick, Matthew Melnick. She leaves behind dear friends Ginger & Clifford Nilsson and Beverly & George Moore.

There will be no viewing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Sudhir Toppo at St. John’s the Evangelist Church, 15 East Church St. Susquehanna, PA on Wednesday August 12, 2026, at 11am.

Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.
