Elaine P. Just, 79 of Deposit, NY passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at UHS Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.

Elaine was predeceased by her first husband Edigberto Diaz; son Eddie Diaz; parents Walter & Helen (Weber) Valitsky; and sister Diane Madaras.

She is survived by her husband Charles Just; son and daughter-in-law Richard & Lisa Diaz and son Stephen Diaz; grandchildren Stevie (Debbie), Eddie, Jessica (Justin), Anthony, Marcus, and Kristina; great grandchildren Ava, Mia, Kyrie, Paul, Stephen, and Christian; many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Elaine was born in Brooklyn, NY. She lived in Queens then Canarsie Brooklyn before retiring to Deposit, NY. In her younger years Elaine enjoyed traveling, dancing, and going out to dinner with her friends. In her older years she spent most of her time with her loving family who adored her and will miss her dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 1:30pm at St. Joseph’s Church in Deposit, NY.

The family will receive friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 11am till 1pm.
