Ellen Grace (Harrison) Bixby Of Susquehanna, Pa. Ellen Grace (Harrison) Bixby passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday November 5, 2018. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Robert, her sons Robert J. and John (Wally), her brother James Harrison and sisters Doris Deakin and Erma Stein, her grandson Eric Bixby and great grandson Justin Lee. She is survived by sons Dale and JoAnn, Joe and Rose, Stephen and Jen, her daughters Ann Lee, Mary and Chris Norris, and Kathy and Rick Gaworecki, and daughter-in-law Sharon Bixby. She was the proud grandmother of 25 grandchildren, step grandchildren and numerous great and even great-great grandchildren. She also had many special nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Ellen was a devout Catholic and a member of the Monday Club. She was known as the grandmother who baked cookies for everyone in the neighborhood. She was never happier than when she was holding a newborn baby. The family wishes to thank all who helped with her care especially Mary Pat Freitag and the Hospice of the Scared Heart. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. David Cramer on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 10:00am at the St. John’s Church in Susquehanna, Pa. Burial will be in the St. John’s Cemetery in Susquehanna. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave Susquehanna on Friday, November 9, 2018, from 6 to 8pm.
