Eric Frederick Ultzen Of Susquehanna, PA Eric Frederick Ultzen, age 76, of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2021. Eric was was the owner of Ultzen’s Boat Service in Island Park, New York where he provided over 40 years of unequaled customer service to recreational boaters along the south shore of Long Island. He was a hard-working true water-fronter who loved the salt air and exploring the waterways of Reynolds Channel in his boat “the Crackerjack”. Eric was a master boat mechanic who could fix anything on land or sea. He believed in doing quality work and was always there for people in their time of need. Eric spent his retirement years in the rolling hills of rural Pennsylvania where he enjoyed reading the Bible, taking long drives in the country in his Ford pick-up truck and riding his John Deere tractor. Eric was a devoted Son, a dependable Brother, and a loving and caring Uncle. His sense of humor, knowledge and wisdom will be dearly missed. Take heart in Philippians 4: 6-7 and Matthew 6: 25-31. Eric Ultzen is survived by his sister, Linda Kenney, of Virginia Beach, VA, niece, Christina Fisher and nephew, Donald Kenney. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harry and Tina. A private burial service for family will take place at Saint Michaels Cemetery in East Elmhurst, New York at a later date.
