Erwin Hermann Of Jackson, PA Erwin Hermann, 78 of Creek Road, Jackson Township, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents John & Adelle Hermann, and sister and brother-in-law Trudy & Newton Holden. Erwin is survived by his wife Glendora R. Allen; daughter Linda Battaglini; son Edward Hermann; grandchildren, Scott Nilsen, James Nilsen, Mary Dickson, Tonya Caskey; great grandchildren Alexis Hermann, Olivia Novak, Michael Heath, Kevin Caskey, Brooke Spaulding; brother John Hermann; sisters Agnes Pearo and Evelyn Eshelman and many nieces and nephews. Erwin served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. Following his time in the service he became an LPN and worked at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA until his retirement. Erwin was a Mason and belonged to Freedom Lodge #328 in Thompson, PA. He was also a member of Shriners International, St. Andrews Commandery No. 27 Knights Templar, and American Legion Post #86. Erwin enjoyed living in the country, hunting, spending time outdoors, and his fellowship with his friends. He will be dearly missed by his loving family. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 31, 2021, at 5pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, December 31, 2021, from 3 to 5pm.
