  Esther (Butts) French Of Susquehanna, PA     Esther (Butts) French, 80, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the Barnes Kasson Hospital after an illness. She was predeceased by her loving husband Stewart French and son Rickey French Sr. Esther was survived by a son Roger and Mary French, daughter Elaine and David Conrad and a daughter-in-law Catherine French; eight grandchildren, Rickey Jr. and Dawn French, Christina and Franklin Sceranka, Julie and Jason Funk, Wayne Conrad, Nicole Conrad, Shawnee and Chris Baker, Samantha Soules and Taylor Soules; several great-grandchildren, many special sister-in-laws, several nieces and nephews; and her seven loving dogs and two loving cats. She was very much loved and will be deeply missed by her family. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, at 11am, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, with Pastor Gary Day officiating. Interment will be held at the North Jackson Cemetery, North Jackson, PA at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, February 6, 2014, from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the “True Friends Animal Welfare Center” 16332 SR 706, Montrose PA, 18801, or a charity of one’s choice.
