Fern Olivia Delarco

Fern O. DeLarco, Of Spring Hill, FL Fern Olivia (Hanna) DeLarco, 91, of Spring Hill, FL peacefully passed away December 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Lorenzo (Chutz) DeLarco with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Surviving are their four children; Diane Dunn, Darlene Evans, Larry DeLarco, and Roger DeLarco; five grandchildren; Heather Pavuk, Shawn Dunn, Jamie Perissien, Ryan DeLarco, and Deven DeLarco; and seven great-grandchildren. She was the youngest of three born to Gladys (Greeley) and Rodger Hanna. Fern was raised in East Stroudsburg, PA until her family moved back to Susquehanna where she graduated from Susquehanna High School and met her future husband. She worked at Perrine Furniture as a bookkeeper, but enjoyed her days at home as wife, mom, and grandma the best. Chutz and Fern had many friends and were known for their colorful parties. Fern enjoyed decorating and celebrating every holiday, especially Christmas. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but will live on in their hearts and memories. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 11am at St. John’s Church, Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA, on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 10 to 11am. Interment will be held in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA directly following Mass.
